About VIAKISK
VIAKISK (Virtual academic campus of library and information studies) was an education island within social virtual world Second Life and on Open Simulator and afterwards. Project started as student team task in 2009 and was maintained by the Division of Information and Library Studies (Faculty of Arts, Masaryk university Brno, Czech republic). We decided to close the island in 2012 due to technological and pedagogical barriers we have dealed during our experiments.
